Completed less than six months ago, Studio XO Hyderabad is among the latest additions to the rapidly expanding Studio XO network, joining a portfolio of nearly ten live entertainment venues across India. Having hosted celebrated artists including Gurdas Maan, Nooran Sisters, Mika Singh, B Praak, Satinder Sartaaj and Sagar Bhatia, the venue was conceived exclusively for live entertainment and hosts multiple performances every week, placing exceptional demands on every element of its sound reinforcement system. From intimate acoustic sessions to full-scale live concerts, the system is incumbent to deliver the same clarity, impact and reliability, irrespective of programme material or performance intensity.

The objective was to recreate the unmistakable Studio XO listening experience within an entirely new architectural environment. And the responsibility of designing this cohesive venue-wide experience was entrusted to pro AV system integration specialists Avian Technologies Pvt. Ltd., who developed a purpose-engineered CSC Audio ecosystem centred around the RR 212hl three-way, bi-amplified horn-loaded loudspeakers and CR 218s high-output dual 18-inch subwoofers.

Following multiple rounds of acoustic modelling analysis of the venue that included detailed audience geometry, Avian’s design and integration team decided to deploy the proven combination of the RR 212hl loudspeakers paired with the CR 218s subwoofers as the primary PA system, which is perfectly complemented by additional CSC loudspeakers that form the surround / delay reinforcement. With each individual loudspeaker and subwoofer strategically deployed to achieve remarkably uniform coverage, the comprehensive CSC audio system at Studio XO doesn’t just deliver unbridled power, but also preserves tonal consistency, clarity and musical integrity throughout the venue, irrespective of audience position.

According to team Avian, the system itself was engineered to address the unique demands of a high-performance live venue. _______X______ Director of Avian Technologies Pvt Ltd informs, “Every element of the loudspeaker system has been meticulously phase and time-aligned; allowing the main PA and delay loudspeakers to function as one coherent reinforcement ecosystem. The RR212HL allows for exceptional projection, pattern control and remarkable musical accuracy, while the CR218S provides the depth and authority needed to shake the room without overwhelming the mix. High gain before feedback allows performers to work confidently at elevated stage levels without compromising vocal intelligibility, while comprehensive acoustic treatment minimises stage spill and unwanted reflections. Equally important is CSC's high-current amplification which provides generous headroom for extended performances, maintaining consistent output without thermal compression even during demanding live shows. All in all, the outcome is precise stereo imaging and seamless sonic integration, enabling audiences to perceive every vocal and instrument as naturally originating from the stage; an essential characteristic of an authentic live music experience!”
